Today we had gym, we played hula hut.  We did a short round of literature circles.  We uploaded our movies to our google drive and shared them with Mrs. Gordon.  We are bringing home Friday journals.  Reminders: Please dress for the weather. Conferences are next Thursday evening and Friday morning Book Fair is next week  We are doing a Food Bank Drive for the holidays...please bring in non-perishable food items for donation

Today we started our Voice project - we are going to become advocates for the Grasslands.  We finished researching about the ways Indigenous Peoples and Settlers used the land.  In gym we played Hula Hut.  We did Literature Circles this morning.  We did Think It Thursday.  Reminders: Dress for the weather - we will be going outside if it is warmer than -20. We have a half day tomorrow. 

Today we did True or False Tuesday in math.  In gym we played Crazy Cricket.  In music we did a mood map to tell a story.  We worked on our i movies. We did some more research about the ways that Settlers and Indigenous Peoples used the land.   Reminders:  Dress for the weather Practice times tables - grade 4 - 7 x7 and grade 5 - 9 x 9

Today we read an article about Bison being reintroduced to Banff National Park.  We did Make it Monday in math.  In Gym we did alphabetical exercises.  Some people re-did their tree art with a slight adjustment.  Some people had time for i-movies.  Reminders: Be prepared for the changing weather - bring mitts, toques, snow pants and warm boots.   

Today we created aspen tree art.  We played bench ball in gym.  We worked on our movie reflections.  Reminders: No school tomorrow We are not bringing home Friday Journals today because we had so many things to do. :) 

Today we worked on our grassland reflection videos.  We did our literature circles and guided reading.  We did research about the ways that Indigenous Peoples used land and and the ways that the Settlers used the land.  We are making presentations to be the voice of the land.   Reminders:  Special Lunch tomorrow  No school on Friday 

Today we did our Make it Monday math since we didn't do it yesterday.  We also started a math journal entry about area and perimeter.  We worked on our mural reflection, we planned out what we will say in our video.  We read a story by David Bouchard titled, "The Elders are Watching".  Reminders:  Practice times tables  Special Lunch is Thursday  Thursday is a full day
