November 14

Today we did Think it Thursday in Math.  We did a sketchbook page about the beaver and adaptations that help it live in the wetland.  We think our mural is finished!!!  We did our first literature circle groups and some guided reading.  We practiced throwing footballs in gym.  Reminders:  If you have not paid for the Open Minds program, please log on to your myCBE account and pay the fee.   Practice multiplication times tables (7x 7) and (9x9)

September 26

Today we did a pond reflection.  We did the Terry Fox run and did a page to honour his legacy in our sketchbooks!  In math we played a new game called "What's the Difference".  This is a good game for families to play at home to practice subtraction!  Tomorrow we will be bringing home "Friday Journals", students will share the highlights of the week in their journals.  Please read the journal and return Monday morning.   Reminders: Tomorrow is a half day  We are still collecting toonies or loonies for Terry Fox Dress for the weather!  We will be going outside in all weather types!
