October 22

Today we did True or False Tuesday in math and we created multiplication arrays with the Cross Conservation map.  We wrote in our journals, we had the choice of two topics: If you could be an animal, what would you choose or what is best place to play in Bridlewood? We worked together to design the beginning of our grasslands mural, we drew an independent version and then worked to combine it with a partner.  We revealed the last of the biofacts in literacy.

Reminders:

We are still in need of a few volunteers for Open Minds, Nov. 5, 6, and 7.
Friday November 8th, will be a "full day" for room 79.  We will be departing the school at 8:30 that day and returning at 2:30.  Students will be dismissed when we return to the school at that time.  If you need to make arrangements for an alternate pick up for your child, please let Mrs. Gordon know.

The fee for Open Minds is $54.  It has been attached to your MyCBE account, please log on and pay prior to Nov. 4.  If you are unable to pay the full amount, please let Mrs. Gordon know.

Please check at home for snow pants, mitts, toques and other outdoor gear.  The week at Open Minds will be spent outdoors and appropriate clothing will be necessary!  If you need help accessing any items, please send Mrs. Gordon an email.

Thank you for your support of our program!

Halloween Dance forms are due tomorrow.
