We did some work about Pink Shirt day today.  We did an activity about Kindness and the impact that it can have on people.  They will never quite be the same after hurtful words, ask me about "Greenie".  We did Pink Shirt Word Problem Wednesday.  We worked on our Cinquain cloud poems.  

 Reminders:

 Kindness Assembly is tomorrow at 10:30 = parents are welcome to join.  The Mayor will be joining us as well.  
If students would like to they may wear Purple tomorrow for our assembly.

Parent Information Important

BWS IMPORTANT PARENT INFORMATION   Dear  Parents & Guardians Based on the changing provincial and local response to COVID-19, the CBE has given us direction to postpone: Evergreen Theater Performance:  Friday, March 13 @ 10:15 am. CANCELLED Student-Led Conferences:  Thursday, March 19th & Friday, March 20 th   CANCELLED, booking system will not open. We will still be having the Scholastic book Fair, due to the directive parents will  NOT  able to attend, as conferences are cancelled. All CBE schools have been given direction to postpone or cancel events that include populations from other schools and/or parents or other community members, such as Parent-Teacher Interviews, celebrations of learning, drama/musical performances, dances, athletic competitions, etc. This decision is effective from Mar. 12 until the end of March break. October 17

Today we went to the pond, learned and practiced a new journalling technique called "Event Mapping".  We had gym.  We did a math journal practice and started our own entry about representing numbers.  We worked on two biofact stations.   Reminders:  Halloween Dance ticket forms are coming home today.  We are still in need of volunteers for Nov. 5,6,7.
