We did a science experiment today, we made it rain in a jar.  We did Literature circles this morning.  We went to our last Mission Impossible with the Kindergarten kids.  We did word problem Wednesday and finished our Math Journals about multiplication.  

 Reminders:

 Bring a clean, glass jar for science tomorrow.

Open Minds School

Dear Parents,  As many of you are aware, we will be attending an Open Minds Program in November.  We are very fortunate to be going to Ann and Sandy Cross Conservation Area November 4-8.  We are looking for 3-5 volunteers per day to attend this program with us.  If we do not have enough volunteers, there is a possibility that we will not be able to go.  There is still time to get a police clearance and sign the volunteer registration forms!   If you are able to volunteer for any or all of these days, please let me know!  I am happy to find a spot for any parents that are able to join us that week!   Thank you for your support!  Mrs. Gordon

October 17

Today we went to the pond, learned and practiced a new journalling technique called "Event Mapping".  We had gym.  We did a math journal practice and started our own entry about representing numbers.  We worked on two biofact stations.   Reminders:  Halloween Dance ticket forms are coming home today.  We are still in need of volunteers for Nov. 5,6,7.
