February 4

We did a science experiment today to learn about hot and cold molecules move differently.  We used jars, hot water and food colouring.  We had Mission Impossible gym with the grade ones. We did True or False Tuesday in math today.  We exchanged social studies region knowledge.  We made thermometer Microbits.

Please bring in a clean glass jar for science

Today we started our Voice project - we are going to become advocates for the Grasslands.  We finished researching about the ways Indigenous Peoples and Settlers used the land.  In gym we played Hula Hut.  We did Literature Circles this morning.  We did Think It Thursday.  Reminders: Dress for the weather - we will be going outside if it is warmer than -20. We have a half day tomorrow.
